I've got a Pilsner and a Dark Lager in my fridge, and I'm liking them, so despite the shipment of amazing Cigar City that's in there, too (Jai Alai, White Oak Aged Jai Alai, Cookie Dough Brown Crawler), I'm happy to talk about these beers.
Cause on the weekend, it's cool to get whatever ABV is in the beer I want. But on the weekdays -- I drink less on the weekdays, and some days not at all! -- I kinda like having a low ABV beer around. So right now I'm drinking Peak's Fresh Cut Pilsner (4.7%) and Resignation's KCCO Black Lager (5.1%). They didn't cost much, maybe around ten bucks a sixer. They come in small bottles so you don't knock yourself out with a bomber. And they don't drop a taste bomb on your tonsil bros -- something about settling down with a nice hoppy pilsner or a slightly toasty, smoaky black lager is perfect. Doesn't really matter what season (says the guy who lives in the land of no seasons).
In terms of price, size, strength, and taste, they're perfect weekday beers (and styles).
