Packing for a week in San Diego and Chicago and super excited. There's so much great beer coming. Instead of packing the bag full of beer to bring with me, though, I'm sending a package ahead.
I'm not sure which is easier or cheaper. I bet checking a bag is cheaper, and maybe even easier. But the thing is, I'm traveling twice, so it would be checking the bag twice, and waiting for the bag to come around twice, and lugging that heavy ass bag twice. That changes things.
When you travel... well maybe you don't bother with beer. But if you do, you probably deal with this decision. Do you try to send beers ahead and back or do you check them? I figure checking makes the most sense most of the time. But it might be interesting to see if any of you do that when you travel.
So, do you bother? Do you pack your bag full of beer going and coming?
Or am I just an obsessed freak?
